How I Roll
Maybe it's the whole second child thing, but Emory is really anxious to move and keep up with his brother. He's not quite able to crawl yet but he rolls like a gymnast. The other day he rolled from in front of the couch, all the way around the side and the back, around the other side and back to the front of the couch. I got some of it on video.
Snowman
We have been getting snow after snow after snow here. David and Jack built a snowman last weekend. Personally, I think it is pretty creepy looking and it is positioned to where it seems to be peering into both the kitchen and the living room. The worst is at night when it is illuminated by the moon. Hoping he will melt soon.

Pink--The New Blue
Ever since he got his last haircut, Jack has been talking about sitting in this pink car. After the haircut, he picked out a pink lollipop and declared that pink is his favorite color.

Brothers
6 Months
Baby Emory is six months old. He is such a great baby. He loves his brother and makes Jack laugh all of the time. It's a little early to tell but we have the feeling that Emory may emerge as the quiet ringleader in this relationship. He's only been eating solids for a couple of weeks but he loves to eat. He seems a little upset that we've held out on him this long. His hair has finally grown back in to where he has solid coverage. It's a lot lighter than it was at birth but still much darker than Jack's. He's really communicative and kind of has his own language that let's us know what he wants. It mostly consists of a variety of grunts but if you're around enough, you start to catch on. He definitely brings an element to our family that makes everything feel right.

Indiana
We went up to Indiana to visit with David's family and to see his brother who just got back from Iraq. All of the cousins were together for the first time in a while.
Trucks!
David's dad used to be the police chief for the city of Lawrence. He pulled some strings and got Jack a visit to the fire station and police station so he could check out the police cars, ambulances and fire trucks. Jack was scared of the fire truck and even declined to take a ride around the block. He loved the ambulance though. As well as the chocolate sundae that Joe got for him afterward.
