The Race

After months of training and early morning runs, race day finally came. David and his brother, Jeff, both finished the Carmel Marathon. It was a cold and windy day but they both did great. Jack, who also put in months of training, ran the one-miler with me. He also did great and walked very little.

Before the big race we took the boys over to the racetrack in Indy. It was more than difficult to pry Jack out of the race car.
