Knoxville

We went down to Knoxville and got to spend some time with Grannelle, Wawa, Nathan, Miller and Harper. They swam. Ate ice cream. We went tot he zoo. Good times. And Mom and Miller got some really excellent photos of the kids.

The Train Ride

We took the boys on a train ride last weekend. We went from New Haven, KY all the way to Boston, KY (about 25 minutes). It was definitely the least glamorous train ride I have ever been on but the boys couldn't have been more thrilled. To them, there is just nothing cooler.

Swim Lessons

So we headed back into swim lessons again this year. Jack had a lot of anxiety about them and missed the first few minutes of the first classes as I sat (sweating profusely) on the side of the pool trying to convince him to get in. He had a great teacher though, and eventually got with the program. Although he still mostly swims vertically, he made a ton of progress.

Picking Strawberries

We headed out to pick strawberries with the McCurley's. Emory was very little help but did manage to stuff himself silly with strawberries. Jack and I picked a full peck.

Big South Fork

A few weeks ago, we took a trip to Big South Fork with the Mosses. The boys had a great time hiking and playing in the woods with Evan and Beans, the dog.
