Holiday World

We met David's brother and family at Holiday World on Saturday. Holiday World is a theme park in southern Indiana that specializes in just what you would think it would: holidays. They've got the Fourth of July (Emory's favorite), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Halloween. Jack was too little for a lot of the rides (David was not. He rode all three roller coasters.) but he managed to get in quite a few. The Turkey Whirl was a bit much for him. Comet's Rockets was more his speed and he loved the Antique Cars and the Gobbler Getaway. He was also a big fan of the free soda stations (pop, they call it here). David and I got a taste of the future and what it's like to spend all day in the blazing hot sun while your kids get sticky and sunburned but have a blast. Holiday World is fun for all.
